Electives
Electives: Enriching Learning for All Pupils
Once a month, our school offers Electives, an exciting afternoon dedicated to enrichment and exploration beyond the traditional curriculum. Pupils in Key Stage 1 (KS1) participate in a rotating set of activities, exposing them to a variety of new skills and interests. In Key Stage 2 (KS2), pupils take greater ownership of their learning by selecting their own electives, allowing them to pursue areas of personal interest and passion. These sessions provide a fantastic opportunity for all pupils to broaden their experiences, discover new talents, and deepen their engagement with learning.
Every month, a chance to explore,
Learning new skills to open each door.
Engaging in activities, fun and bright,
Choosing your passions, finding your light.
Trying out things you’ve never done,
Inventing, creating, and having fun!
Variety and choice, for everyone to see,
Electives bring out the best we can be!
