Forest School

Forest school is an outdoor education where all children will learn personal, social, and technical skills. They will develop confidence, self-esteem, and independence through a hands-on learning experience in our own outdoor environment.

Our forest school sessions are run by a forest school leader who has attended adequate training. The leader is first aid trained. Our forest school has been set up since September 2019. An area on our school field has been cleared of all brambles, nettles and cleared for a seating area.

Every child through the school from Reception to Year 6 will have sessions at forest school and they will all learn about the environment that they live in and how to take care of it.
